About Aetherium Bastion 3D

Aetherium Bastion drops one hero into a third-person 4v4 arena against AI rivals. Five heroes play differently — a spellblade, a duelist, a shield knight, a swordmaiden and an archer — and each carries two abilities you have to learn instead of a stat sheet you can ignore. Matches stay short: first team to 50 knockouts, or the higher score when the five-minute clock runs out. Outside the fight the ruins are worth walking, because the secrets hidden there pay the points that unlock the heroes still behind a lock.

How to play

• WASD moves, Shift sprints, Space jumps; hold the right mouse button to aim.
• Left click fires your Bolt, F swaps weapons and R unleashes Nova.
• E interacts with a ruin trial, G pings a spot for your team and Tab opens the scoreboard.
• First team to 50 knockouts wins; if the clock runs out, the team with more knockouts takes the match.

Tips

• Green pickups heal, gold pays points and purple turns your damage up — take purple before a fight, not during one.
• Your three team-mates are AI: a ping on a secret is the fastest way to get them to follow you.
• Locked heroes open on lifetime points, so a few short matches unlock the next slot faster than one long one.
• Touch controls appear on phones and tablets; the ability buttons sit at the bottom of the screen.
