About Orbit Dash

Orbit Dash is a one-button arcade game about staying alive on a moving ring. You circle a dying star on one of three orbits; a tap throws you outward, and the outermost ring loops back to the core. Spikes sweep both ways along the lanes, light motes hang in the dark, and every mote you chain raises the multiplier up to x9. The soundtrack is generated live in the browser — bass, arpeggio and drums all shift up a gear as your level climbs.

How to play

• Space, click or tap to hop one orbit outward; the outer ring wraps back to the inner one.
• Collect the green motes for points and combo; every eight pickups raises the speed level.
• Avoid the pink spikes — they rotate along their lane in both directions.
• M mutes the synth soundtrack, P or Esc pauses, Space restarts from the game-over screen.

Tips

• Hop early, not late: the lane change is instant but the spike arc keeps moving toward you.
• The middle lane is the safest place to wait out a heavy spawn wave.
• Chasing combo beats chasing single motes — a x9 pickup is worth 90 points on its own.
• Listen to the drums: when the hi-hat comes in you are at level two and spikes are getting faster.
