About Rift Kings

Rift Kings is a compact strategy game about holding a contested rift. You spend resources on units, commit them to a lane and try to break the rival kingdom before it breaks you. Matches are short enough for a coffee break, and the counter-play is in reading what the other side is building.

How to play

• Spend resources on units, then commit them to a lane.
• Holding the rift is worth more than trading evenly across the map.
• Read the rival build before you commit; a hard counter is cheaper than a bigger army.

Tips

• Do not over-commit to a lane you cannot hold — a lost lane costs more than a slow one.
• Save a unit in reserve for the moment the other side pushes.
• The rift pays for itself if you hold it for one full cycle.
